It was a strong association as a kid and one I carried with me. I think my sister finally clued my thoughtless and ignorant self in. BUT I;m no one's press secretary. Wouldn't ever be. Identify more with Mrs. Malapop than any kind of public figure. I cannot believe this happened the first day on the job. I cannot imagine that even Bush will keep him around. And I suspect that history will ultimately rate this presidency as one of the worst and, indeed, most thoughtless in history.
